Silly Cat

Silly cat! Hiding under tissue paper...what a novel idea! We can't see you in there!

Anyway, this is just a post mostly to share this goofy shot of the cat, and also to say that I almost forgot; I did also buy sock yarn last night. I am just crazy enough to start trying to knit some socks, so I'm going to try my first pair probably this weekend, on size 5 DPNs. Wish me luck!

Good luck with the socks! One of the women at Legacy Yarn (across from Kendig Square) is really good at helping with socks (she's the employee, not the owner). She can help you with picking out the yarn, the pattern, the knitting method & with the actual knitting.

Can't wait to see your sock!

Hi Sarah,

Just wanted to say thanks for your comments on my blog. I'll also attempt to knit socks for the first time. Looking forward to seeing posts of your accomplishments.

My cats spend the entire Christmas holiday under tissue paper or wrapping paper of some sort.

Finally! Good luck on your socks! I definitely want to see them while they're in progress. What kind of toe and heel are you going to use? Much Excitement! I just bought Nancy Bush's Knitting Vintage Socks today at B&N.

I finally ordered Ann Budd's The Knitter's Handy Guide to Sweater Patterns. I've been meaning to get this book for months. It's being sent to my house in a week!

Forgot to ask. Are you still thinking about/going to knit Forecast with us?
