I was number 221, and I came in 111th out of about 130 runners. Hey, at least I made it! My time was 41:25, which is pretty darn slow for a 5K, but I had hoped to do it in under 45 minutes, so I can't complain too much. It also gives me a time to work on improving. After I do the Hershey Half-Marathon in October, I'm hoping to set my sights on some more 5Ks and actually try to beat my own times.
I promise I won't write about running in every post from here on out...right now I'm a little bit obsessed, but I hope it will even out as it becomes more a part of my life instead of a new thing I just got into.
Me with Jack & Irene after the race...please disregard the belly roll... |

Good for you! I ran the Hershey Half in 2010, my first and it's first. It's a beautiful course.
